Welcome to my nail blog! I'm a beginner and new to nail art. I just started in June (2013) so I'm still learning. :) This is just a hobby for me. I spend most of my days studying for exams as a doctoral student of optometry.
I’m back! Due to National Boards I was on hiatus for awhile. Once Boards were over, I had let my nails get completely shredded from lack of care. Its taken a full month of TLC to get my length, strength, and cuticle health back to what it was before all that studying began.
I am still interested in having 52 designs for 52 weeks, but because I have some catching up to do, I’m going to pretty much back track designs I missed and go ahead and post future ones as they get done just so I can get perfectly caught up by May.
Another easter theme nail party! Teresa did the pink ombre on her own and it turned out to be the most perfect pastel pinks for the season. This is the result on her first try! Gradients are a really easy and gorgeous technique if you want to spice up your manicure.
and of course, everyone loves an accent bunny. He even has some blush ^_^ I should definitely beef up on more “cute” manicures.
Dr. Tong actually did her own french nails and requested an accent nail with a bunny butt. :D many cutes. I’m actually really surprised and happy with how it came out. I genuinely had no faith that it was going to come out looking the way I wanted it. Huzzah! As usual, everything is done with a single line brush and polish.
